TIP! Looking for that little bit of extra luxury? Then choose one of our vacation rentals for up to 6 people with a fully fenced-in yard and a private sauna and/or hot tub. While your dog roams around safely outside, you can completely unwind.

De Bergvennen Park

    The Hilgelo

    This recreational area consists of a large lake with small beaches and expansive grassy fields. From October 1 through May 1, dogs are allowed to run free and swim throughout the entire area. There is also a special dog walking trail where dogs are allowed to run free year-round.

    Dog Park

    On Parallelweg in Winterswijk , youā€™ll find a fenced-in dog park next to the sports halls. Here, dogs can run around freely all day and play with other dogs. Please note: there are no dog toys or poop bags available on the premises.

    Lutterzand

    This large drifting sand area covers about 750 hectares and features a small off-leash area with a dog beach. Here, dogs can swim, play, and run around in clear, clean water. Please note: Your dog will not be able to run off-leash for the entire walk.

    Dog Park

    Dogs are allowed to run off-leash at the Denekamp Easter Bonfire site (Berghummerstraat). On this spacious lawn, you can play with your dogs and let them run around freely with other dogs. Please note: You are required to clean up after your dog at this site.

Hofparken Wiltershaar

    Het Hilgelo

    Dit recreatiegebied bestaat uit een groot meer met strandjes en uitgestrekte grasvelden. Van 1 oktober tot 1 mei mogen honden door het hele gebied loslopen en zwemmen. Daarnaast is er een speciale hondenwandelroute waar honden het gehele jaar los mogen lopen.

    Hondenpark

    Aan de Parallelweg in Winterswijk vind je naast de sporthallen een omheind hondenpark. Op deze plek kunnen honden de hele dag vrij rondrennen en spelen met andere honden. Let op: er zijn geen hondenspeeltjes en poepzakjes aanwezig op het terrein.

De Bergvennen Park

    Lutterzand

    Dit grote stuifzandgebied is zo'n 750 hectare groot en beschikt over een klein losloopgebied met een hondenstrand. Hier kunnen honden zwemmen, spelen en ravotten in helder en schoon water. Let op: je hond zal niet de gehele wandeling los kunnen lopen.

    Hondenlosloopterrein

    Op het terrein van het Denekampse paasvuur (Berghummerstraat) mogen honden sinds 2022 los lopen. Op dit ruime grasveld is het mogelijk lekker te spelen met de honden en ze lekker rond te laten rennen. Let op: de opruimplicht geldt op dit terrein.

If you want to rent a cottage with your dog at our parks, a maximum of 2 pets are allowed at some cottages. This allows you and your dogs to enjoy a well-deserved vacation at our parks in the beautiful natural areas.

šŸ¾ Can I also book last-minute vacations with my dog?

Certainly! At our Hofparken, you can book a last-minute holiday house with your dog in the Netherlands. Of course, arranging last-minute shelter is not exactly easy.Ā  And fortunately, it's nice not to have to miss your faithful four-legged friend while on vacation!
