Questions about your booking

Are there costs associated with canceling a booking?

In case of cancellation more than three (3) months before the commencement date: 15% of the rent (including additional costs). In case of cancellation within three (3) to two (2) months before the commencement date: 50% of the rent (including additional costs). In case of cancellation within two (2) to one (1) month before the commencement date: 75% of the rent (including additional costs). In case of cancellation within one (1) month before the commencement date: 90% of the rent (including additional costs). In case of cancellation within 14 days before the commencement date: 100% of the rent (including additional costs).

How old do you have to be to make a booking at Hofparken?

The main booker of the trip must be at least 21 years old at the time of booking. Hofparken only accepts bookings from persons who are 21 years or older. Bookings for which the booker is younger than 21 years old are not considered valid. The main booker is also liable for all fellow travelers included in the booking. The correspondence of the booking will be handled in its entirety via the main booker.

How can I be sure that my booking has been registered?

We will send a booking confirmation to your email address. You can view the details of your reservation there.

What is Hofparken's policy for group holidays for young people?

Groups of young people, which are considered to mean a group of at least four people, mainly under the age of 21 and unaccompanied by a parent or guardian, are not admitted to Hofparken. Hofparken reserves the right to refuse access to groups that meet the aforementioned description. To avoid problems upon arrival, we advise you to contact our reception before making your final booking if you have any questions or doubts.

Can I still change my chosen holiday accommodation after booking?

If you want to make changes to a booking that has already been made, Hofparken is not obliged to make these changes. Hofparken itself determines whether and to what extent change requests are honored. For the possibilities of changing a booking, please contact the reception.

What are the rules and options for payment?

For all reservations, 25% of the rental price (including additional costs) must be credited to the stated bank account number of Hofparken within 14 days after receipt of the order confirmation. The remaining 75% must be credited to the stated bank account number of Hofparken no later than one month before arrival. For reservations made within one month before arrival, the entire rent (including additional costs) must be paid within seven (7) days after receipt of the order confirmation, but no later than before the start of the stay.

How can I book for people with a disability?

Yes, this is possible! We have a wheelchair-friendly Amalia for rent that is completely tailored to the needs of someone in a wheelchair. This accommodation is suitable for two persons. This can be booked via the search and book or when clicking "Book right away" at the top right.

 

Frequently asked questions about arrival

How and when will I receive the key to my accommodation?

You will receive the key to the accommodation upon check-in at the Hofparken reception desk.

Are there specific arrival and departure days?

For our accommodations, you can arrive and depart any day of the week.

From what time can I check in?

You are welcome to check in from 3:00 p.m. You can do so until 6:00 p.m.

Is it possible to check in later?

Checking in later is possible after consultation. Please contact reception for this.

At what time do I have to check out?

We kindly ask you to leave your holiday home before 11:00 a.m. and to hand in the keys at the reception.

Is it possible to check out later?

We offer you the possibility to book a late check-out until 13:00 for an extra fee of €20. Add late check-out to your booking on the website or inform reception during your stay. Have you changed your mind at he last moment? You can still let us know the morning of departure. Contact reception and they will ensure that you can leave your holiday home later.

Where can I park my car at the park?

Parking is possible at your holiday villa at the Amalia 4 or 6. There is room for one car here. If you come with several cars, there is ample parking to the left of reception, including charging points for electric cars. At the hotel studios, you can park your car in the adjacent parking lot opposite reception. The Amalia Familia has a private parking lot with room for eight cars. You will also find one charging point for electric cars at this parking facility.

 

Questions about your stay

Is free WiFi available?

Use of WiFi is free at all of our holiday accommodations. All holiday homes are equipped with their own WiFi network. The login codes can be found on the card on the table in the holiday home.

Is smoking allowed?

All of our holiday accommodations are non-smoking. Smoking is only allowed outside.

I would like to receive visitors during my stay. Is this possible?

Family and friends are more than welcome during your stay. They must register aour guests t reception upon arrival. Visitors can leave their car in the general parking lot. Will your guests spend the night? If so, a tourist tax will be charged as well as a surcharge for extra bed linen and towels.

When will my accommodation be cleaned?

If you stay at the hotel studio, your room will be cleaned daily. Are you staying at one of our other holiday homes? In that case, it is cleaned after you leave. You will find a cleaning set with a broom and dustpan and brush at the accommodation. If you want to vacuum in between, you can let us know at reception.

Can I charge my electric car at the park?

The general parking lot is equipped with several charging points for electric cars.

Can I charge my electric bicycle at the park?

Charging electric bicycle(s) is possible. You can do so at the storage room at your accommodation.

Can I bring my own bicycle to the park?

Feel free to bring your own bicycle on holiday! There is enough space in the storage room of the holiday villa to safely store several bicycles. Would you like to rent some bicycles? Please contact reception in advance.

Can I bring a pet?

Dogs are allowed at selected holiday homes at Hofparken. When making the reservation, you can indicate that you are bringing your dog(s). You can bring up to two dogs. A surcharge of €9.50 per night will be charged per dog for extra cleaning work. Dogs are not allowed to stay at the park unaccompanied, must always be kept on a leash and are not allowed to swim in the ponds. Pet droppings must be cleaned up. Hofparken reserves the right to refuse pets at the park without having to state the reason.

Is there a park store?

Good to take into account: we don't have a park store yet. We do offer a small range of food and drink items for sale at reception. In addition, you can book breakfast daily at Restaurant 1897 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Restaurant 1897 is opened Thursdays to Sundays from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

What are the park regulations?

In order to make the stay as pleasant as possible for all guests, guests must adhere to the rules of conduct stated in the park regulations. You can find the park regulations on our website.

Who can I contact if I have a complaint during my stay at Hofparken?

Do you have a complaint? We will be happy to resolve it with you. If you have a negative experience during your stay, please don't hesitate to contact reception right away. We will look for a suitable solution together immediately.
